If you're passionate about shaping the future of mobile and want to be a part of a brand that's ready to shake things up, we want you on our team. 🎨 The RoleWe are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer in the US Pacific or Mountain timezones with excellent knowledge of AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, and significant experience shipping highly available, scalable, and secure infrastructure in a fast paced environment. You will be joining a small, talented team of infrastructure engineers supporting the Helium Network. 🛠️ What You’ll Do:

Design, implement, and maintain highly available, secure cloud infrastructure on AWS to support Helium’s decentralized cellular and IoT networks. Build and manage Kubernetes clusters (EKS) and related workloads, ensuring optimal performance, scalability, and security. Develop and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform to automate provisioning, configuration, and lifecycle management. Administer and extend HashiCorp Vault for secure secrets management, PKI operations, and certificate lifecycle automation. Configure and operate HashiCorp Boundary for secure, identity-aware remote access to sensitive systems. Manage and monitor RADIUS and RadSec infrastructure for network authentication, authorization, and accounting. Implement CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions and FluxCD and observability tooling in Grafana to improve deployment velocity and system reliability. Collaborate closely with subscriber, blockchain, networking, and security teams to ensure infrastructure supports high-volume, low-latency crypto and telecom workloads. Troubleshoot production incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement preventive measures to improve system resilience. Document infrastructure architectures, operational procedures, and runbooks for team-wide knowledge sharing. Assist in System Administration tasks in Google Workspace, 1Password, and the like.

5+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, and/or Platform engineering roles Significant experience with AWS, K8s, and Terraform Experience evaluating and improving observability and security practices Experience working in start-up companies; you must be able to move fast Self starter who can hit the ground running and craft robust solutions with murky or abstract requirements

Nice-to-Haves

Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or related field Experience working in blockchain related companies Telecommunications experience working with RADIUS and RadSec infrastructure

💸 Compensation & Benefits

Salary

The overall salary pay scale for the target experience and target skill set for this role is $134,000-$195,000. We utilize more specific location-based pay scales. For more information, please inquire during the interview process. The successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions.
