The Role
We’re hiring a senior Institutional Business Development Lead to aggressively expand our footprint across global institutional crypto markets.

You will originate, structure, and close high-value institutional partnerships across exchanges, custodians, hedge funds, asset managers, trading firms, market makers, infrastructure providers, and real-world asset participants. You should be equally comfortable discussing on-chain liquidity mechanics and institutional credit structuring.

We’re looking for someone who understands how institutions allocate capital, how risk is priced, and how tokenised infrastructure changes market structure and who has the network and ambition to act on it.

What You'll Own

Institutional Origination & Pipeline Control

  • Design and execute a global institutional growth strategy.
  • Build and own a high-conviction pipeline across funds, trading firms, exchanges, custodians, and structured capital providers.
  • Identify and convert high-quality counterparties into long-term strategic participants.
  • Bring institutional liquidity, structured flow, and sophisticated capital onto our infrastructure.

You are expected to generate proprietary opportunities - not just respond to inbound.

Deal Execution

  • Lead complex negotiations with senior executives and decision-makers.
  • Structure sophisticated commercial agreements.
  • Translate institutional requirements into clear internal execution plans.
  • Work directly with Product and Engineering to ensure successful delivery.
Market Structure & Institutional Intelligence

  • Maintain deep fluency across:
    • DeFi protocol design and liquidity dynamics
    • Centralised exchange models and institutional flows
    • Custody, prime brokerage, and clearing infrastructure
    • Structured credit, yield products, and capital formation
    • Global regulatory developments impacting institutional crypto participation
  • Articulate clearly how on-chain infrastructure improves transparency, capital efficiency, and distribution.
Experience Required

  • Represent the company in high-stakes external settings.
  • Act as a credible voice in both crypto-native and traditional finance circles.
  • 5–10+ years in institutional business development, private credit, capital markets, leveraged finance, crypto infrastructure, investment banking, or adjacent sectors.
  • Demonstrated network across institutional crypto and/or traditional finance participants (funds, trading firms, market makers, exchanges, credit allocators, family offices, etc.).
  • Deep understanding of both DeFi and CeFi ecosystems - not theoretical, practical.
  • Experience structuring and negotiating complex, multi-party commercial agreements.
  • Strong grasp of risk frameworks, incentives, and capital structure dynamics.
  • Ability to bridge institutional expectations with crypto-native execution speed.
  • High ownership mindset - you don’t wait for direction, you create momentum.
What We Offer

Build What Didn’t Exist Before
You’ll help design and scale Euler’s approach to real-world credit from first principles, turning institutional-grade credit strategies into transparent, onchain markets.

Real Responsibility, Real Leverage
Your decisions won’t disappear into layers of management. You’ll ship, iterate, and see the direct impact of your work on capital formation, product adoption, and protocol growth.

Where Institutional Finance Meets Crypto-Native Design
Work alongside operators, credit specialists, and protocol engineers who understand both sides of the equation. We’re not replicating TradFi onchain - we’re rebuilding it to be more open, efficient, and programmable.

Remote by Design
We operate as a distributed team with meaningful autonomy and clear ownership.

Aligned Upside
Competitive compensation in fiat or crypto, plus meaningful equity/token participation. We invest in our team with conference budgets, travel support, and continuous learning resources.

High Trust, High Performance Team
We operate with candour and respect. Ideas are challenged, not people. We move fast, support each other, and take collective responsibility for results.
