Weâre looking for a Coinbase CT Lead to work alongside our executive & communication teams. This role will be instrumental in owning & strategizing the companyâs Crypto Twitter presence. The ideal candidate is a seasoned & respected crypto twitter native that has a proven understanding of crypto twitter best practices.
What youâll be doing (ie. job duties):
- Lead rapid-response communications for crisis & issues management on social media.
- Develop and execute social & new media strategies for Coinbase spokespeople, both proactive and reactive.
- Craft compelling, concise, and clear messages that resonate and amplify our executivesâ voices.
- Create engaging content that cuts through FUD (Fear, Uncertainty, Doubt) and communicates directly with the audience.
- Work cross-functionally with other execs and teams on high-priority issues in crypto and for Coinbase.
- Be flexible with working hours as crypto never sleeps and sometimes neither do we.
Must-haves:
- Deep understanding of social and new media landscapes.
- Passion for crypto and economic freedom.
- Strong background in building and engaging with a social media following, especially on X.
- Proven experience as a talented copywriter and memer.

- Born & raised in the Twitter/X trenches.
Nice to haves:
- Solid working relationships with social and new media.
- Experience in public relations.
- Understanding of the regulatory, security, political, and technical landscapes influencing cryptocurrency.
