We are seeking a publicist or writer to join the Otter PR team that has an interest in Crypto, NFT's, and the Metaverse. You will work with a direct supervisor and will be responsible for crafting media messages, press releases, and a media campaign.
We are looking for all experience levels and provide extensive training. PREVIOUS PR EXPERIENCE IS NOT REQUIRED
Responsibilities are:
- Developing communication strategies with team
- Coordinate interviews
- Handling marketing/media inquiries
- Monitoring PR results and weekly reports
- Building rapport with the media
- Schedule and conduct weekly or bi-monthly calls with the clients
- Retrieve/write client bios
- Collaborate with an account manager on a strategic plan
- Build media lists
- Write and send pitches
- Set up client profiles
Qualifications:
- Required: interest and knowledge in Crypto, NFT's, and the Metaverse
- Strong project management skills
- Strong writing skills
- Comfortable working directly with clients
- Deadline and detail-oriented
Education, Experience, and Other Qualities Required:
- PR experience preferred but NOT required
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work effectively under deadline pressure
