Your Responsibilities
- Build smart contracts in for Solana and develop performant Rust code for backend services, to be integrated with your Node.js applications or to be run stand-alone (CLI tools or microservices).
- Design, scope, and estimate complex smart contracts / programs based on given requirements, such as: * Custom SPL Tokens * NFTs * DeFi applications: staking, farming…
- Envision and develop features to help grow Elixir DeFi
- Enthusiastically collaborate with a small team to plan, refine and organize projects at the task level
- Collaborate with cross functional partners on all aspects of product development
- Identify and advocate for team-wide areas of improvement and best practices
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in CS or equivalent, provable work experience
- 5+ years of industry experience in software engineering
- 2+ years of experience writing good, clean, production-ready Rust applications
- Have deployed programs on Solana main net
- Understands and applies idiomatic Rust patterns to solve common problems
- Understands gas optimization, blockchain performance and security
- Familiar with Anchor or a similar setup for building, testing and deploying Solana programs
- Possesses exceptional judgment, problem-solving skills, and an analytical mindset
- Understands engineering best practices such as continuous integration, TDD
- Ability to work in areas outside of your comfort zone and motivated by personal growth
- Be able to work autonomously.
- The candidate should be independent enough to make important technical decisions on his/her own.
- Optional: It would be a plus if you have experience with Node.js industry standards: Express, GraphQL, MongoDB, REST APIs.
