About Us:
Analog is building a true Layer-0 blockchain network that ushers in the omnichain future, secured with the Proof-of-Time consensus mechanism.

Backed by world-class investors, our vision is to facilitate the seamless communication of time data (events) between decentralized applications across different chains.

We are a non-hierarchical team seeking a highly experienced Dev-ops Engineer to collaborate with the technical team who specializes in blockchain infrastructure setup and deployment.

In this role, you will be responsible for single-handedly collaborating efforts for end-end deployment and management of our blockchain infrastructure, ensuring it’s scalability, reliability and security. As a key member of our technical team, you will play a vital role in driving our blockchain initiatives forward.

About the role

    • Blockchain Infrastructure Setup: Design, architect and set up the entire blockchain infrastructure, including notes and connector networks, tailored to meet the specific requirements of our projects.
    • Deployment and configuration: Develop and implement efficient deployment strategies, utilizing containerisation technologies (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes) to automate the deployment process, ensuring seamless and reliable deployment of blockchain components.
    • Monitoring and Optimisation: Establish monitoring systems to track the performance, availability, and security of the blockchain infrastructure. Proactively identify bottlenecks, vulnerabilities and areas for optimisation. As well as implementing necessary measures to enhance system performance and stability.
    • Security and Compliance: Implement robust security measures to safeguard the blockchain infrastructure from potential threats and attacks. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations related to blockchain security and privacy.
    • Continuous Integration and Delivery: Implement CI/CD pipelines for blockchain applications, enabling rapid and reliable deployment, testing and release cycles. Automate building, testing and deployment processes to achieve faster time-to-market and improved efficiency.
    • Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution: Act as the primary point of contact for diagnosing and resolving issues related to the blockchain infrastructure. Conduct root cause analysis, provide timely resolutions, and implement preventative measures to minimize future occurrences.
    • Collaboration and Documentation: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, architects, and product managers, to understand project requirements and ensure seamless integration of blockchain components. Document processes, configurations and infrastructure changes to maintain a comprehensive knowledge base.
    • Research and Innovation: Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in blockchain technologies, enabling you to identify opportunities to improve our infrastructure, streamline processes and enhance scalability.

About You

    • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
    • Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer, specifically working with blockchain technologies.
    • Strong knowledge of blockchain concepts, protocols, and consensus mechanisms (e.g., Ethereum, Hyperledger Fabric, Corda).
    • Proficiency in setting up and managing blockchain infrastructure components such as nodes, networks, and smart contracts.
    • Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) and associated orchestration tools.
    • Expertise in implementing and managing CI/CD pipelines for blockchain applications.
    • Solid understanding of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and their services for hosting blockchain infrastructure.
    • Familiarity with monitoring tools, security best practices, and compliance requirements in the blockchain space.
    • Strong scripting and automation skills (e.g., Bash, Python) for infrastructure management and deployment.
    • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
    • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively both independently and within a team.

Benefits

    • Highly competitive salary and token compensation with huge growth potential
    • Be a founding engineer of one of the most innovative protocols to exist in blockchain
    • Supercharge your career in Web3 - the future of the internet
    • Work closely with team members who have a wide breadth of experience from some of the leading tech companies in the world
    • Flexible working hours and working environment
