Junior or Intern Information Security Risk & Compliance Officer

Information Security Compliance is an excellent way to gain relevant job skills and stay flexible to multiple career paths including Security, Compliance, Legal, Risk and Management. As a Junior or Intern Information Security Risk & Compliance Officer you have an interest in information and cyber security and confidence in your ability to learn new things. You consider yourself to be organised and able to manage your time and tasks well. You are keen to learn new things from more senior professionals about information security and compliance. You may be considering a career in or career change to compliance, risk, legal or security related fields or already confident that you wish to pursue a career in compliance.

Your Responsibilities

• Learn something new related to your job function on a weekly basis (with support)

• Editing, updating and maintaining documentation related to compliance controls and procedures

• Maintaining project management documentation, roadmaps, milestones, reports and deliverables

• Implementing other policy, procedure and standards related projects as required by the CSO or more senior compliance officers

Our Requirements

• Enthusiasm for learning new things & confidence to ask questions when stuck

• Strong reading comprehension skills in English

• Strong organisational skills, good written and verbal communication skills

• Desire to learn information security, risk or compliance fundamentals

• Basic project management knowledge or ability to demonstrate initiative in learning them prior to interview

• Willing to work hard and take initiative with list of tasks.

• A helpful and positive attitude, highly responsible and ethically motivated
