The Head of Credit will lead all credit efforts at k/factory. This includes supporting and educating the Centrifuge DAO and Community in the areas of credit risk and structuring, being the mastermind of the decentralization of credit, meaning how credit and debt can be brought on-chain and current traditional financial intermediaries can be replaced by code or token economics. You will work closely with the users of the Centrifuge protocol to improve the borrowing, lending, and investing experience.

This is a credit position in nature and would suit you if you have experience at a reputable global bank or leading credit fund. You may have managed a credit investing/structuring team and have deep knowledge of the end-to-end process. You will be responsible for setting the overall credit strategy and building the team necessary to execute it. A thorough understanding of structured credit, asset-based finance, and credit analysis are what we are looking for.

You can build out platforms for success, thinking holistically about the direction of the market, and can design operations and strategies to fit that direction. The ability to adapt to fintech workflow and processes is important. You will need to be excited about the space, understand the long-term vision and be ready to navigate uncharted territory.

Expected Skills

• Traditional finance experience, specific to credit investing/structuring and ideally some experience in asset-backed securities
• More than 5 years of experience
• Demonstrable track record of originating, analyzing, evaluating, and managing structured finance transactions
• Proven credit risk underwriting skills, with experience in illiquid credit markets
• Knowledge and experience of different credit rating methodologies
• Ability to build and lead the necessary team
• Knowledge of the end-to-end credit investing process
• Must be able to connect all sides of a deal: Asset, Capital, and Services (legal, credit rating/risk, accounting)
• Knowledge of DeFi and the crypto ecosystem is desired, but not necessary
