Responsibilities

• Strong critical thinking - ability to identify issues and bugs in games
• Proficient with SDLC, Test Life cycle, Bug Life Cycle, and Test Case documentation.
• Perform manual functional testing across the mobile platforms (iOS, Android)
• Advanced understanding of game dynamics, sandbox explorations, side quests, and hidden levels.
• Good knowledge of Bug tracking tools like Jira.
• Hands-on knowledge of SDK testing will be big plus.
• Basic understanding of Unity/ Game Engine if projects require the same.
• Consistently enters high-quality bugs based on department standards and performs accurate regressions of existing bugs
• Functionality testing, Compatibility Testing, Client Performance testing, and Live ops on day-to-day tasks.
• Written skills to describe bugs clearly.
• Manages bug entry to minimize invalid and duplicate issues.
• Interfaces occasionally with developers to verify bugs
• Troubleshooting skills and strong logical thinking.
• Knowledge of the PC, Console, and Mobile Platforms in terms of hardware and software

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience of “hands-on” testing on any one of them (Mobile, PC) platforms
• Complete understanding of the Test life cycle
• Good communication skills - ability to describe identified issues in a clear and concise manner
• Hands-on experience with Test case writing and execution
• Ability to work effectively with other team members
• Flexibility to adapt to changes in project requirements and instructions
• Ability to troubleshoot with limited direction and think out of the box
• Passion for games
• Analytical mind and good problem-solving aptitude.
• Previous experience in game testing
• Good understanding of iOS and Android platform knowledge

Educational Qualification

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer science, Computer Engineering, or similar discipline
