YOU AGAIN:

Our Scrum Masters are directly in the center of this challenging but rewarding mission and play a key role in our success. As a Scrum Master @ Palo, you work directly with the development team(s), fostering teamwork and optimizing the work of the team. You help your team succeed more by identifying and resolving blockers, performing alignments with people outside the team, and representing the team externally. You will take care of the wellbeing and needs of your team and lead them in project goal achievement. You are a face of Palo to clients, which often includes advising, educating, and guiding client representatives in our agile approach to software delivery.

• Guide the team in continuous improvement, including to the way of work and towards greater team autonomy.
• Facilitating discussion, decision making process, and conflict resolution, including in ceremonies
• Work closely with the Product Owner to optimize the value delivered by the team and handle gaps or problems if they arise mid-sprint. Ensuring cross-team coordination.
• Coaching the team to higher levels of collaboration, teamwork, and agile maturity.
• Maintaining relevant metrics and visualizations to help the team see their performance (ex. Burndown charts)
• Help ensure lessons learned and best practices are shared across Palo IT projects and teams
• Assisting with internal and external communication, improving transparency, and radiating information, particularly related to operational issues the team faces

STILL YOU:

• Prior Experience directly as a Scrum Master, recognized Agile certification
• 5+ year’s agile software development experience
• 2+ years as a technical lead, scrum master or equivalent
• Excellent interpersonal skills: servant leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, and increasing transparency
• Understand the value of commitments to delivery made by a development team
• Understand incremental delivery and the value of metrics
• Understand backlog tracking, burn down metrics, velocity, and task definition
• Have knowledge of the software development life cycle
• Have excellent communication skills in both spoken and written English and Thai
• Ability to guide and grow team members

Your technical environment

• Digital projects: web, tablet and mobile applications# Understanding of systems engineering concepts, ability to conduct cost/benefit analysis, Business case studies, translating and simplifying requirements, management and communication
• Transformation projects: DevOps, architecture, private/hybrid/external cloud
• Technologies: JavaScript: Angular, React, Vue, Node, iOS, Android, Flutter, Go, Backbone; HTML5; CSS3, Clojure; Java; J2EE; Ruby; Devops/Cloud; Big Data; IoT; Artificial Intelligence; Blockchain
• Agile and Scrum methodologies

Your role as PALO IT Ambassador

You will be invited to take part in R&D works done within our Practices. You will have the chance to assist or be a speaker at must-attend international IT conferences. You will have the opportunity to write articles for our Blog or specialized press. Genuine ambassador of PALO IT, you will present our offers and take an active role in the development of the company. In addition, you will contribute to the social, environmental and purpose driven objectives and initiatives of PALO IT in order to positively impact our environment, customers, communities and ourselves as an organization and individual.
