THE WORK:

In this position, you will be responsible for executing and driving business results through global events: a key component of Ripple’s marketing strategy. This role will be dedicated to RippleX, engaging developers and driving adoption of the XRPL. With so much of our global event activity happening in APAC, this person will sit in our Singapore office, alongside other marketing and communications teammates.

This means you infuse strategic thinking into your work, push creative boundaries, and execute flawlessly. No job is too big or small for you. WHAT YOU’LL DO: 

  • Be a key contributor to the strategy and execution of RippleX events globally, with a keen eye toward the APAC region.
  • Coordinate different aspects of event production from content and program development, design, AV, vendor management, logistics, communications, promotions, and more.
  • Own and influence workstreams for flagship-hosted conferences including Apex.
  • Establish excellent and inclusive working relationships with key partners across the company including marketing, design, media, product, finance, and legal.
  • Work with the integrated marketing team to maximize the impact and reach of events, evaluate and measure success, and track ROI.
  • Partner with legal and finance teams to process contracts, POs, etc.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING: 

  • 7+ years of relevant experience, working with developers is a plus
  • A dynamic portfolio of events with proven business results
  • Creative thinkers! We’re looking for candidates who aren’t afraid to think big
  • Understanding of the crypto industry is a bonus
  • Time management and multitasking skills to handle multiple projects at once
  • Demand generation experience and proficiency using marketing & event technologies (i.e. Hubspot, Salesforce, Pardot, Swoogo, Splash)
  • Serious attention to detail and a commitment to excellence
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • Showcase proactive and creative approach to high-pressure situations 
  • Willingness to travel internationally
