BNB Chain is looking for a dynamic Public Relations and Communications Manager to join our team. This is a full-time remote APAC-based position reporting to the Global Marketing function. This individual who fills the position will be pivotal in increasing public awareness of BNB Chain, enhancing our company image, and managing communications effectively during crises. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in public relations, media relations, and communications within the technology or blockchain sector, specifically within the APAC region and mainland China.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement PR and communications strategies to grow BNB Chain’s share of voice 
• Proactive media outreach and pitching for media interviews, commentaries, and securing coverage for announcements
• Create PR campaigns that amplify BNB Chain messages and aligns with industry trends
• Establish and maintain relationships with global and regional Tier 1 media outlets
• Support global and local PR and marketing activities
• Establish and maintain solid relationships with Mandarin-speaking KOLs to increase traffic for BNB Chain 
• Lead proactive storytelling, pitches, and campaigns to secure positive media placements, focusing on BNB Chain’s story, mission, and vision, especially in the APAC region and mainland China
• Provide comprehensive communications support for all online and offline events, ensuring a consistent and compelling brand presentation
• Active media monitoring and handling of crisis communication strategies
• Support and advise on all brand partnership opportunities and activations, ensuring alignment with BNB Chain’s communication goals
• Analyze and report on PR coverage and outcomes

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or related field
• 5+ years experience in Public Relations or Communications, preferably in the technology or blockchain industry
• Demonstrated success in developing and executing PR and communications strategies
• A strong network of media contacts and proven ability to build relationships with Tier 1 media outlets, especially Mandarin-speaking media and KOLs
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage crises and respond to media inquiries effectively
• Experience in supporting brand partnerships and activations
• Creative thinker with a strategic mindset
• Works well in a fast-paced environment and can prioritize and work well under pressure 
• Languages: Native Mandarin and fluent English are required to communicate with internal and external stakeholders
