Blockdaemon is looking for a Marketing Manager to join our rapidly growing team. You will lead our efforts for customer acquisition, brand building, and customer retention.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the VP of Marketing on the overall marketing strategy and aligned to the GTM with APAC General Manager. Be directly responsible for executing key tactics to drive the strategy
- Work closely with Marketing, Product, Engineering, and Sales teams to generate brand building, awareness, and lead gen campaigns by understanding our product offerings and collaborating with internal key stakeholders
- Deploying successful marketing campaigns from ideation to execution
- Develop strategies and tactics to promote the company and drive qualified traffic to our front door
- Experiment with a variety of channels to localize the content, designing campaigns for local markets, and collaborating with the experts on the team to execute the plan involving content creation, content curation, pay per click campaigns, event management, PR, social media, lead generation campaigns
- Collaborate with our content manager and community manager to publish valuable and engaging content for our website and blog that attracts and converts our target groups
- Build strategic relationships and partner with key industry players, agencies and vendors
- Prepare and monitor the marketing budget on a quarterly and annual basis and allocate funds wisely
- Oversee and approve marketing material, from key placements to 1-pagers and case studies
- Work with team to measure and report on the performance of marketing campaigns, gain insight and assess against goals
- Collaborate with business development to create compelling sales enablement materials
- Showcase through initiatives the ability to simplify and communicate technical details into understandable marketing materials
- Identify measurable results that align with company KPIs
- Complete work with great attention to detail and meeting expectations of high quality results
- Understand latest industry trends by conducting competitive analysis in APAC
Skills
- APAC is a complex market, ability to demonstrate experience running marketing campaigns and initiatives across North Asia, India, Asia South, Japan, Korea and ANZ
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Experience in Engineering and Developer lead marketing initiatives
- Focused on finding solutions and proactively researching and executing on initiatives
- Ability to work as part of a highly collaborative team, listen effectively, and respect others while offering and receiving constructive feedback
- Juggle multiple tasks at hand and feel comfortable in a dynamic environment
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 3-5+ years experience in marketing communications, growth marketing, or product marketing
- Experience with Google Analytics, Google Ads, direct marketing and marketing automation, and customer segmentation
- Strong project management and team collaboration skills
Minimum qualifications:
- Experience with Google Analytics, Google Ads, direct marketing and customer segmentation, A/B testing software
- Proficiency with Google Suite - Docs, Sheets, Slides
- Experience with CMS tools (Salesforce) and marketing automation (Pardot)
- Proven ability to to run multiple campaigns successfully and handle projects happening in parallel
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks within a decentralized work environment - Blockdaemon is a remote team!
- Blockchain-related experience/industry knowledge is a big plus
Preferred qualifications:
- Adobe Creative Suite or similar industry-accepted toolset
- Organized, able to think and perform outside the box, and be able to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced, ever evolving environment
