The Team
The Associate Treasury Analyst is a key contributor to the success of Kraken’s Clearing & Settlements function and Global Treasury team. This highly visible role will require dynamic interactions with Kraken’s OTC trading desk, Gateway Operations, Account Managers/CE, and Finance providing active solutions to manage the firm's clearing, settlement, and funding needs.
The Opportunity:
Facilitate treasury and cash management functions including but not limited to rebalancing of fiat and crypto accounts and various types of internal funding requests
Manage end to end OTC settlement requests, efficiently processing payables and receivables via bank wire and crypto transactions
Provide the OTC business with best in class customer service experience by meeting and exceeding SLAs for settlements and inquiry response times
Coordinate with global team members to monitor thresholds and execute payments to rebalance operating and custodial assets
Research and resolution of financial and non-financial inquiries received via internal/external messaging systems
Execute on established procedures and provide recommendations to improve processes as a subject matter expert
Maintain productive working relationships with our banking partners, operations teams, product, management, dev ops, and other stakeholders

Collaborate with Treasury and Accounting functions with month end data verification, ensuring quality and accuracy of produced information
Skills you should HODL:
2 years + treasury experience in a cross border payments, trading operations, settlements
Ability to work fully remote supporting the Americas time zone - must reside outside the US and Canada
Ability to adapt and thrive in a transactional environment requiring urgency an vigilance
Demonstrates the highest level analytical and data management skills
Database knowledge and understanding account based systems and processes
Intermediate understanding of Bitcoin and digital assets infrastructure and markets
Minimum intermediate skill level in Excel/Google Sheets
Knowledge of SQL queries and database structure is a big plus
A passion for internal controls and a security first mindset
Fluent English communication skills (other languages a plus)
Familiarity with Jira, Smartsheet, Asana or similars a plus.
