As a Talent Partner, you’ll support both Improbable’s own hiring needs and the growth of our ventures. You’ll work with founders, leaders, and internal teams to identify, attract, and hire exceptional people across disciplines – from engineering and product to commercial and leadership roles.

You won’t just be recruiting; you’ll be shaping hiring strategies, ensuring every venture has the right foundations to scale, and providing services that add real value to their journey.

Areas for impact

  • Support hiring needs – deliver full-cycle recruitment for both improbable and our ventures, spanning technical, creative, commercial, and leadership roles.

  • Design bespoke talent services – understand the unique needs of each venture and design tailored services that add value – from recruitment strategy to candidate experience and beyond.

  • Shape hiring strategy – partner with leaders to design and execute effective, scalable hiring approaches suited to early-stage and scaling businesses.

  • Champion candidate experience & employer brand – ensure ventures and improbable stand out in competitive markets through memorable and high-quality candidate interactions.

  • Talent insights – provide data-driven insights on talent availability, compensation trends, and competitor activity to guide strategic decisions.

  • Operational excellence in hiring – keep processes, tools, and reporting smooth and scalable, ensuring transparency and efficiency across multiple ventures simultaneously.

What We’re Looking For

  • Deep recruitment expertise – extensive experience hiring across senior, specialist, and leadership-level roles in high-growth or early-stage businesses.

  • RPO or venture-building experience – background in recruitment process outsourcing, venture services, or multi-brand recruitment environments; comfortable with context switching and supporting multiple brands simultaneously.

  • Strategic partnering – acts as a trusted advisor to venture leaders and improbable execs, guiding talent strategy to support long-term business goals.

  • Autonomy & ownership – comfortable leading complex hiring programmes across multiple ventures simultaneously, with minimal direction.

  • Stakeholder influence – skilled at managing senior-level stakeholders, influencing decision-making, and setting hiring priorities across competing needs.

  • Talent insights expertise – able to interpret data, provide market intelligence, and deliver actionable recommendations that shape venture growth.

  • Operational & process design – capable of designing scalable recruitment processes, talent strategies, and bespoke services to support ventures from inception to scale.

  • Mentorship – Shares expertise and supports the development of other Talent Partners, contributing to overall capability-building within the team.

This role is available as remote, hybrid or in-office. We have a great office space in Spitalfields in London, but are equally happy if you'd prefer to work from home some, or all of the time.
