We’re looking for a Security Detection & Response Engineer to join our Cybersecurity team to harden and protect Pintu’s application and services. This role is a subject matter expert in Detection Engineering and Incident Response.
What You’ll Be Doing
You will drive the security detection responsibilities for PINTU’s infrastructure by setting up threat identification capabilities from ground up. You will be one of the founding members of the security team.
In this role, you will:
- Own and run Detection Engineering tools and processes. That includes
- SIEM/SOAR
- Security log collection & management
- Monitoring and alerts configuration
- Response playbooks for triggered alerts
- SOC automation
- Innovate and build tools that automates the detection of security threats
- Be a trusted security advisor

What you’ll need
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in Detection Engineering
- Be an expert in security basics and threat detection concepts
- Cloud security and Kubernetes knowledge
- Working experience in setting up SOAR or SIEM
- Understanding of mobile & web application security threats, exploits and prevention techniques
- Interest and knowledge to code using Go/Python/NodeJS
- Passion for automation and an eye for details
- Skills to solve problems with effective communication and a sense of drive
