Title: Data Analyst Intern

Reporting to: Chief Operating Officer

We’re the tech geeks and creatives at Mammoth Media, the studio that builds and publishes mobile-first entertainment experiences for Generation Z. Our apps and short-form shows entertain over 30 million monthly viewers and have been downloaded over 80 million times globally. We’re also behind Creatorly, the creator marketing platform that helps established and emerging brands build and scale their presence on TikTok through organic creator-generated content.

Why are we hiring?

We’re looking for a Data Analyst Intern that will help us run a social-friendly marketplace that make NFTs and cryptocurrency easy and accessible for the next generation of consumers. You’ll play an active role in the process, setting our strategy, and bringing the next phase of our business to life; as well as reshaping how today’s society thinks about digital goods and decentralized virtual ownership.

You’ll receive continuous education and opportunities to explore your strengths, grow and be mentored across analytics, working directly with the Chief Operating Officer and in close collaboration with the exec team.

Responsibilities:

• Create, analyze and and report on key metrics to continuously improve company products
• Undertake exploratory data analysis by understanding what data exists, importing it, cleaning it, and asking tons of questions
• Collect data via user research, working closely with the content team, to make recommendations about products, marketing plans and launch strategies
• Monitor market and competitor activities, making recommendations towards key product decisions
• Work with other areas of the company to improve the analysis and growth of products

Requirements:

• Experience in Data analytics
• Demonstrated ability to understand consumer needs, market trends, technical concepts, and evaluate new ideas
• Proven track record to transform qualitative and quantitative insights into well-articulated business requirements and UI UX specs
• A strong, strategic mind with problem solving skills

Preferred Skills:

• Ambitious self-starter who deals well with ambiguity in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to turn data into actionable product & business insights
• Have strong organization and communication skills
• Experience with SQL, GA, Amplitude, and Excel
