Mythical Games is at the forefront of integrating blockchain technology with gaming to create immersive, digital experiences that captivate players worldwide. We're currently seeking a talented and passionate Live Operations 2D Art Generalist to join our team and contribute to the success of our NFL branded mobile game, NFL Rivals.

In this fully remote position you will be working with a multidisciplinary team to create and implement art content to support the Live Operation of a high profile mobile game.

Responsibilities:

• Creating high quality 2D assets for themed NFL Programs;
• Work efficiently, and creatively within Studio, and NFL >
• Creating impressive 2D pack art. That can be easily identified by its Theme / Program, and quickly distinguished for its value;
• Work with Art Director and peers to generate high-quality assets;
• Collaborate with product, art, and design to ensure created assets are not only appearing as intended in game. But also are successfully communicating what they need to be;
• Implementing art into the game using standard Unity features;
• Manage and maintain assets in a version control system;
• Attend and Participate in daily team meetings. Staying informed, and giving status updates.

Qualifications:

• Strong Creative Skills;
• Experienced with Photoshop and Illustrator;
• 2+ years of experience with Unity for mobile games;
• Experience with UI / UX design;
• Strong problem solving skills;
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
• Knowledge of VFX and particle systems in Unity a plus;
• Previous experience with Git is a plus;
• NFL knowledge is beneficial.

The expected base salary range for this role is based on the location where the employee’s work will be performed and is aligned to one of our three compensation pay range tiers. Base pay is just one part of Mythical’s total compensation package, which is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their efforts and contributions. This role is also eligible to participate in Mythical’s Corporate Bonus and Equity Plan.

Pay Ranges by Tier:

Tier 1: $110,000 - $138,000

Tier 2: $99,000 - $124,000

Tier 3: $88,000 - $110,000

Locations by Tier:

Tier 1 Locations: San Francisco Bay Area - California

Tier 2 Locations: Remainder of California (outside of the SF Bay Area), Washington state, Massachusetts state, New York state

Tier 3 Locations: All other states outside of California, Washington, Massachusetts, and New York

The base salary for each successful applicant will be dependent on a variety of factors, including work location, education, qualifications, competencies, relevant work experience, business needs, and market demands. Therefore, in some circumstances, the actual salary could fall outside of this expected range. This pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
