Business Development Representative
Cardstack is building the experience layer of Web 3.0, and we are looking for a Business Development Representative to drive new business opportunities and generate new partnerships within the growing worlds of open-source software, cryptocurrencies, DeFi, NFTs, and DAOs. We are a team of experienced technologists and designers devoted to bringing Web 2.0 software architecture into the Web 3.0 era of protocol.
The Business Development Representative will work with our talented team to develop and launch outreach programs that showcase and highlight Cardstack’s many products. They will also identify and create new qualified sales opportunities, build partnerships with other crypto-related organizations, manage reports, and analyze data to increase outreach success.
Moreover, the Business Development Representative will also get to work with our talented team of writers, editors, and product managers to turn these insights into material that can be circulated and distributed to potential customers and clients. Candidates should be self-starters with an eagerness to learn about vanguard technologies, decentralized finance, and more. They should also possess excellent interpersonal communication skills, obvious drive, and a strong understanding of the ins and outs of networking. Ideal candidates will have a background in the blockchain and crypto industries.
The ideal Business Development Representative has these qualities and qualifications:

  • Experience generating and driving new business opportunities for dApps or payment-related platforms
  • Proven history of identifying, managing, and expanding blockchain-oriented business partnerships through strategic timing, client outreach, and other data-driven approaches
  • Strong organizational abilities involving the reporting, tracking, management, and analysis of sales data across various contexts
  • Experience developing and implementing outreach strategies and campaigns
  • Strong, proven networking skills and an eagerness to build relationships with other blockchain projects and crypto-related organizations
  • Ability to identify pain points and provide solutions that guarantee customer success
  • Proven history of succeeding in client- and customer-facing roles
  • Strong understanding of the blockchain and crypto industries
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Self-motivated, entrepreneurial spirit that takes initiative
  • A willingness to learn technical concepts and terms involving Web3, blockchain, decentralized software, crypto, and DeFi at large
  • While there are no technical skills required for this position, we want to recruit candidates who offer specialized skills, whether they are in the arts, sciences, or other professional practices.
