DV Energy is a rapidly growing division that specializes in trading crude oil, refined products, natural gas, and related energy markets across US, Europe, and Asia. Our proprietary risk management and trading methodologies along with a strong ability to adapt to changing conditions has allowed DV Energy to grow into one of the largest financial participants within the global energy complex.
Responsibilities:
- Build and improve a variety of proprietary trading tools to support the trading desks across the business
- Collaborate with other developers, tech leaders, traders, and researchers to outline the technical needs for each trading application
- Work with technology and business stakeholders in iterative fashion to deliver platform functionality
- Develop greenfield innovative solutions to address business needs
Requirements:
- Expected to graduate with a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field by 2024-2025
- Experience programming in either C++, Python, or Java in Linux environments
- Excellent listening, interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills is required.
- Excellent analytical and creative problem-solving skills required.
Annual compensation range $80K - $120K + discretionary bonus eligibility
