Who We Are Looking For
Laguna Games is the developer of Crypto Unicorns, the #1 NFT project on Polygon and now one of the fastest-growing games. We are looking to hire a web developer who is self-motivated, goal-orientated, and a strong team player. You take pride in your work and know what it means to deliver high-quality products. This position will report to our Lead Web Developer and be a critical part of our global team. You will work and innovate at the forefront of Web3 gaming, bringing together unique technologies to deliver a new kind of gaming experience.
What You’ll Do
- Work across all areas of game and web development including UI/UX, DevOps, and development
- Develop, deploy, and maintain functional web sites and applications
- Review feature designs and provide input on costs and possible alternatives
- Work closely with producers, artists, designers, and other programmers in a highly collaborative and agile environment to ship robust code
- Independently create complete solutions from scratch
- Identify web optimizations as well as platform/device-specific issues
- 5+ years of experience in web development
- Proficiency in React
- Solid understanding of CSS, HTML, Javascript, Web3, and GitHub
- Experience deploying and maintaining websites
- Demonstrated debugging and problem-solving skills
- Proven track record of working independently and collaboratively with a dynamic team
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Optional, but a strong design background/portfolio of web projects is a plus
