BitGo is looking for an Onboarding and KYC Analyst to join the BitGo team in New York City. This role will be a hybrid between work from home with occasional office visits and will report to the Deputy BSA Officer.

Your day-to-day will involve:

  • Lead onboarding reviews of prospective clients and ensure that all of the information/documentation have been collected and are accurate.
  • Research and document any issues identified during the client onboarding process.
  • Analyze client information across multiple systems and processes.
  • Conduct enhanced due diligence reviews on escalated items when appropriate.
  • Perform a quality assurance function as it relates to alert disposition of new clients.
  • Identify operational efficiencies and reduce account opening lead times.
  • Support all aspects of the Periodic KYC program.
  • Identify and resolve or escalate, as appropriate, any issues in relation to the onboarding or KYC refresh process.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Main requirements:

  • 5 plus years of relevant experience in a compliance, operations or risk management position.
  • Knowledge of BSA, AML and KYC policies and procedures.
  • Solid understand of the various institutional client types (i.e. Funds, FIs, PE/VC, etc.) and their legal structures (i.e. LLC, GP, Trust, PIC, etc.).
  • Bachelor's degree or an advanced degree or certification or relevant experience in the field.
  • Attention to detail, strong judgment, ethics and decision making skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minor supervision.
  • Organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work in a highly collaborative startup FinTech environment.

Pay Transparency Notice: Depending upon your leveling and location, the compensation for this role averages between $130,000 - $160,000 USD base salary. Equity, an annual performance bonus and the benefits outlined below are also a part of this role's package.
