We are looking for someone who will help us deploy, implement, maintain, and improve the critical infrastructure upon which our platform will rely. Salary: $150,000 - $200,000 / year, depending on experience.

This is a fully remote position. We are agnostic to the location of applicants, but prefer people available to work in the standard business hours of time zones UTC+1 to UTC-8 (Central European Time to US Pacific Time) to better coordinate with the existing team members.

Responsibilities:

  • Prototyping and developing cloud-native architecture solutions in AWS.
  • Utilizing AWS Cloud services such as EC2, S3, IAM, Route53, RDS, VPC, LAMBDA, SQS, SNS, EKS, Load Balancers, CloudWatch, API Gateway, Kinesis, etc.
  • Automating software builds and deployment-to-development and production systems via CI/CD.
  • Providing infrastructure-as-code utilizing Terraform and AWS Cloud Formation.
  • Help improve systems to be highly available (multi-AZ AND multi-region), scalable, and self-healing.
  • Setup and hosting of full nodes (various jurisdictions, concurrent, ~100% uptime).
  • Hosting of backend applications (various jurisdictions, concurrent, ~100% uptime).
  • Maintaining the infrastructure supporting the customer-facing web application
  • Management of blockchain multisig wallets (e.g., Gnosis).
  • Maintaining solutions for custody of bridged assets.
  • Overseeing configuration management and moderating using various automation tools.
  • Define and deploy monitoring, metrics, and logging systems.
  • Design, manage, and maintain additional tools to automate operational processes.
  • Performing other duties as assigned.

Skills

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Technology, or a related field.
  • 5+ years experience in DevOps.
  • Experience working with AWS Stack.
  • Experience building highly automated infrastructures.
  • Hands-on experience with infrastructure automation using Python.
  • Bash, Javascript/Typescript experience preferred.
  • Hands-on knowledge of Docker and containerization technology.
  • Experience developing networking solutions and storage concepts.
  • Familiarity with Github and CI/CD.
  • Previous experience in blockchain strongly preferred.
