About the Role:
The Marketing Director at Avara will lead our efforts to engage and grow our community in the Web3 ecosystem and beyond. This role involves developing strategic marketing initiatives to promote the Avara products made by our teams (Aave Labs, Lens, and Family), and building an ecosystem of users and developers.Â
Responsibilities:
- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing and engagement strategy, including identifying key opportunities for audience growth.
- Community Building: Lead efforts to build and nurture a strong, engaged community around our products through social media, forums, and other digital marketing channels.
- Partnership Marketing: Work with growth team to support strategic partnerships in marketing efforts.
- Content Creation: Oversee the creation of engaging and informative content tailored to the web3 audience, including blog posts, videos/audio, and social.
- Event Support: Work with event team to drive audience to hackathons, meetups, and online activations, to increase brand visibility and community engagement.
- Market Research: Conduct ongoing market research to stay ahead of industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies in web3.
- Analytics and Reporting: Monitor, analyze, and report on the performance of ecosystem marketing initiatives to ensure alignment with business objectives.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
- 6+ years proven experience in business development at a tech company, with at least 2 years experience in Web3, blockchain, or cryptocurrency industry.
- Strong understanding of web3 including decentralized finance, social, and the wallets space.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with various stakeholders.
- Experience in developing and executing marketing strategies, with a track record of driving growth and engagement.
- Creative thinker with the ability to identify opportunities for innovation within the web3 space.
- Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms, analytics, and social media management.
- Content creation and storytelling.
- Analytical and data-driven decision making.
- Adaptability and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
