The starting date is as soon as possible, and the work location is in the heart of Zurich in our new office in the Prime Tower.
Responsibilities
- Take on a key role in the Quant Desk team that develops and implements algorithms for automation, optimisations, pricing, signals, and risk models
- Build models for automated market making and signal generation on economic factors
- Implement risk tools from prototype to production in a microsservices environment
- Take control of key parts of an industry leading crypto assets order management system
- Build on high quality and clean code designed by proven experts in software development
- Manage, improve, and extend a micro-services architecture, e.g., Go, Python, Java, and C++
- University degree in quantitative finance, STEM fields or similar (MSc or PhD preferred)
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience with Golang, with an emphasis on microservices, multithreading, and channels
- Experience with collaboration tools (e.g. Git)
- Experience with deployment tools (e.g. Docker)
- Experience designing and implementing sound unit and integration tests
- Experience with financial query APIs (e.g. REST, WebSockets, FIX, QuickFix)
A plus
- Interest in crypto assets and blockchain technology
- Experience with C++, Python, and Java
- Knowledge of SQL for relational database querying
- Experience with messaging services like Kafka or NATS
- Experience with systematic trading and/or automated market making
- Experience with time series databases (e.g. InfluxDB)
