Business Development Manager (Trading & Data)

We are looking for an elite Business Development Manager to scale our ecosystem’s liquidity and data footprint. You will be the primary bridge between our network and the world’s most sophisticated trading firms, market makers, and institutional data providers.

This role is for a high-level operator who understands the plumbing of modern markets—someone who can speak the language of a Quantitative Trader one hour and a C-suite exchange executive the next. You will be responsible for driving the "supply side" of our network (onboarding market makers) and the "demand side" (pitching our premium data solutions to consumers).

Location: Remote (Global) | Priority Hubs: Singapore, Europe
Language: English (Fluent); Mandarin (Highly preferred)

About Our Team and Your Role

We’re a well-rounded team: half of us are tech whizzes, while the other half excel in building partnerships with data providers, developers, and the DeFi community. Communication is key to our network-driven approach.

Remote Work: Our team is spread across the globe, from the US and South America to Europe and Asia, with an optional office in Porto, Portugal, and Singapore. Remote work is the norm here.

Language Proficiency: English proficiency is essential, as it’s our primary language of communication.

Startup-level speed: We thrive in the dynamic DeFi space and love adaptable problem solvers who are eager to meet the evolving needs of the market.

___

We are a high-performance team sitting at the intersection of institutional finance and decentralized technology. We thrive on speed, technical depth, and a network-driven approach to growth.

As our BD Manager, you won’t just be "selling"; you will be architecting partnerships that define the future of market data. You will leverage your existing deep-rooted relationships with market makers, exchanges, and VIP trading desks to ensure our network remains the gold standard for high-fidelity data.

Your Responsibilities

Drive Network Supply (Market Makers & Data Providers)

  • Identify, pitch, and onboard top-tier Market Makers and Trading Firms to contribute high-quality data to the network.

  • Manage the "supply side" lifecycle, ensuring providers are integrated and incentivized.

  • Navigate complex negotiations with institutional entities to expand our data footprint.

Scale Premium Data Adoption (Demand Side)

  • Lead the sales effort for our premium data offerings, identifying institutional consumers who require low-latency, high-accuracy feeds.

  • Communicate the technical and economic value proposition of our data products to sophisticated buyers.

  • Collaborate with product and engineering teams to relay market feedback and shape our roadmap.

Ecosystem & Relationship Management

  • Act as a high-touch Relationship Manager for VIP clients, ensuring long-term retention and growth.

  • Represent the organization at major industry events (TradFi and DeFi) across Asia and Europe.

  • Maintain a pulse on the competitive landscape (Exchanges, Oracles, and Data Providers).

We Expect You to Bring

  • Deep Institutional DNA: A proven track record in Business Development or Relationship Management within a major Exchange, Market Maker, or Tier-1 Crypto firm.

  • Market Fluency: A deep understanding of how Market Makers operate, their liquidity needs, and how they consume data.

  • TradFi & Digital Asset Hybrid: Familiarity with both traditional exchange structures and the evolving DeFi landscape.

  • Strategic Execution: The ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced, "startup-speed" environment while maintaining institutional-grade professionalism.

Desired Skills and Experience

  • 5+ years in Business Development, Sales, or Institutional Coverage within Finance or Fintech.

  • Strong Technical Literacy: Ability to discuss API integrations and data latency with confidence.

  • Cultural Competence: Experience navigating the nuances of both Western and Asian markets (Mandarin fluency is a massive plus for Singapore-based roles).

Nice to Have

  • Direct experience in "Poaching" or migrating liquidity/data providers from legacy systems to decentralized protocols.

  • Background in Quantitative Trading or Prime Brokerage.

  • A strong presence in the DeFi community and an understanding of oracle mechanics.

Think you’ve got what it takes to build the most talented team in the world? We’d love to meet you.
