About the Team:
The Risk function at Okcoin is responsible for the overall risk and fraud prevention at the company. We’re a team of risk-minded problem solvers who advise the business on the company’s regulatory obligations and enterprise risk. We’re also deeply committed to moving the needle on risk standards for the crypto industry, building products in a compliant way, and protecting the company from financial, regulatory, and reputational risks. Our team consists of seasoned risk professionals who are based across our global offices.
About the Opportunity:
The Training and QA Governance Manager will lead the effort in maintaining high quality and operational standards for the Risk Investigations team.
Key to succeeding in this role requires leveraging effective training methodologies to maintain a strong and high-performing team of investigators who are competent and well-equipped to review fraud queues, identify and take appropriate measures to mitigate fraud and losses.
What You’ll Be Doing:
  • Responsible for maintaining a high-performing team of fraud investigators who are well-equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to detect fraud such as ID theft, social engineering, bot attacks, stolen financials, etc;
  • Develop and update the training syllabus and formulate training strategies for the Risk department;
  • Establish a Quality Assurance program and governance structure; facilitate regular conduct of quality checks on high-priority and high-risk fraud queues;
  • Assist in developing and maintaining processes, templates, and SOPs to ensure risk operation is run in a high-quality, and efficient manner;
  • Use quality monitoring data management system or software to compile and track quality performance at team and individual level, publish audits report with results, metrics, team decision accuracy, process adherence, etc;
  • Explore and implement new ways to streamline investigation processes and leverage technology to increase team efficiency with the highest quality work;
  • Facilitate new hires onboarding, training program on fraud types/queues, and SOP refresher as needed for fraud investigators;
  • Work closely with the Operational Excellence Team to address feedback on risk operational impact on customers.
What We Look For In You:
  • Minimum 5+ years of working experience as a Quality Assurance Analyst or Manager;
  • 5+ years of fraud investigation and training-related experience;
  • Strong fraud training content and SOPs design;
  • Able to take initiative, and work independently with little supervision;
  • Excellent organizational, communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Experienced with Case Management and CRM Tools;
  • A keen eye for detail;
Nice to Haves:
  • Crypto/Blockchain experience;
  • Fraud investigation experience in financial services, eCommerce, or Fintech;
  • Fluency in a second language (Mandarin, Spanish, etc.); and
  • Bachelor’s or Advanced Degree.
