The Head of Product Marketing for DeepBook Protocol will lead all aspects of marketing, communications, and ecosystem positioning for DeepBook and its associated DeFi initiatives. This is a senior leadership position responsible for developing product narratives, managing go-to-market execution, and driving adoption across both institutional and retail audiences.
You will collaborate closely with product, partnerships, engineering, and ecosystem teams to ensure DeepBook’s story is clearly communicated and consistently reinforced across all touch points. This role requires a deep understanding of financial markets, trading systems, and DeFi primitives, coupled with exceptional storytelling and executional capabilities.
Strategy & Leadership
Develop and own the overall marketing strategy and brand positioning for DeepBook, ensuring alignment with ecosystem goals and growth milestones.
Drive global awareness, adoption, and engagement across key user segments, including traders, developers, and protocols.
Collaborate cross-functionally with product, business development, and engineering teams to translate technical innovation into compelling narratives and campaigns.
Serve as the primary marketing lead for DeepBook, overseeing all major campaigns, launches, and community engagement initiatives.
Product Marketing & Go-to-Market
Lead product marketing initiatives, including market research, audience segmentation, messaging frameworks, and competitive positioning.
Develop clear and differentiated value propositions, product narratives, and use cases tailored to DeFi-native and institutional audiences.
Execute coordinated product and ecosystem launches across content, PR, community, and social channels.
Track and interpret DeFi trends, user behavior, and market data to continuously refine positioning and strategy.
Ecosystem & Growth
Build and nurture DeepBook’s brand presence across DeFi, institutional finance, and developer communities.
Partner with ecosystem teams on liquidity incentives, partnerships, and community programs to accelerate protocol adoption.
Collaborate with DeFi product and engineering teams to support the launch and marketing of complementary products, including Hashi, DeFi incentives, moonshots, and other ecosystem initiatives.

Contribute to broader strategic efforts on stablecoins, tokenization, and financial product innovation, as relevant.
Qualifications:
8+ years of experience in product marketing, growth, or brand strategy for technical or financial products.
Strong familiarity with DeFi, trading, and on-chain financial systems, with proven ability to communicate to technically sophisticated audiences.
Deep understanding of liquidity systems, DEXs, and DeFi market structure.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; ability to simplify and convey complex financial concepts.
Proven experience developing GTM strategies and executing high-impact campaigns end-to-end.
Comfortable operating autonomously in a fast-paced, distributed environment.
Prior experience in crypto, fintech, or capital markets strongly preferred.
Experience building and managing marketing teams is a plus.
