At Loopscale, we’re making sophisticated financial products intuitive and accessible. Our lending protocol combines powerful infrastructure with a user experience that sets a new standard in DeFi. We are now hiring our first full-time designer to lead product design as we expand.

As Product Designer, you will be responsible for the full design lifecycle across the Loopscale app. You will work closely with the founders and engineering team to shape user experiences that are both powerful and easy to use. This is a high-impact role for someone with strong product instincts, refined visual taste, and the ability to move fast from idea to execution.

We are headquartered in New York City. This role requires working full-time from our New York City office.

If you think you have what it takes, but don't necessarily meet every single point on the job description, please still get in touch. We'd love to have a chat and see if you could be a great fit.

About Loopscale

Loopscale is on a mission to unlock economic opportunity by building the next generation of capital markets on efficient, open networks. Our flagship product, a new lending primitive on Solana, introduces a new paradigm in on-chain credit. Loopscale unlocks billions of dollars of liquidity for native-staked tokens, liquidity positions, and more.

We are a New York-based startup founded by a team of crypto-natives that has launched products with over $100M of on-chain volume. We are backed by Coinbase, Jump, Coinfund, and Solana Ventures. Visit our website, docs, and social media to learn more.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead product design across the Loopscale app, collaborating closely with our founders and engineering team to ship user experiences that achieve business and user goals

  • Own the full design lifecycle from UX flows and wireframes to polished, high-fidelity mockups

  • Expand and maintain a scalable design system across product surfaces

  • Quickly iterate on user flows, wireframes, and prototypes based on internal and user feedback

  • Occasionally support brand and marketing design work

  • Simplify complex financial products into clear, approachable user experiences

What We’re Looking For

  • A portfolio that demonstrates attention to detail and a track record of shipping tasteful, user-focused product designs

  • 2–5 years of experience in product design or adjacent roles

  • Proficiency in Figma and comfort working from low-fi to production-ready designs

  • Strong instincts for product thinking and user experience

  • Ability to operate independently in a fast-paced environment, including driving judgement for the right product direction with limited oversight, requirements, or data

  • Excellent communication and writing skills

  • An understanding (or desire to understand!) DeFi and financial markets

Nice-to-Haves

  • Experience designing fintech, crypto, or DeFi interfaces

  • Familiarity with popular Solana DeFi protocols, mechanics, and user flows

Benefits & Pay

The base salary range for this role is $110,000-$140,000 with a total compensation of up to $180,000. Our comprehensive compensation plan also includes the following benefits for our full time employees:

  • Industry-leading medical, dental, and vision health insurance plans

  • Competitive equity and token options

  • Private office in New York

  • Regular off-sites and other company-sponsored events and travel opportunities
