Why Axion?
Axion is building the first blockchain SDK for web scale decentralized applications.
Big Problems in Web3 we are solving:
- TPS limitations that inhibit the progress of innovative new applications.
- Bridge insecurity which restricts cross-chain interoperability.
- Existing DeFi infra is insufficient for decentralized price discovery.
Axion reduces TPS limitations through novel infrastructure that enables the production of application specific blockchains which exceed 100,000 transactions per second. Moreover, Axion reduces bridging issues through seamless cross-chain communication powered by built-in state proof support. Lastly, the Axion hub scales DeFi by operating the first order book based decentralized exchange that is capable of high throughput.
At Axion, our goal is to build the blockchain infrastructure on which all of web3 will be built. Axion will enable developers to seamlessly deploy the highest TPS blockchains available to date, opening up a new world of applications that cannot be built on-chain today – exchanges, social media platforms, gaming platforms, logistics networks, etc.
As a Business Strategist, you will work directly with the founding team and bear significant ownership in getting the Axion ecosystem to mainnet. In this role, you will be tasked with helping craft Axion’s go-to-market and brand strategy while building and strengthening Axion’s user and developer relationships. A strong community will be critical to the success of Axion making this role crucial to the success of Axion.
Who we are
The founders of Axion met while working in the hedge fund industry. There, they saw the old financial system--opaque, full of moats, unfair. When they saw the growth of DeFi in 2020, they felt it was going to be incredibly disruptive. They saw what they believed to be the early stages of a new financial world. Armed with that vision, the team built out the top suite of DeFi applications on a leading Layer 1 blockchain.
Now the team is going after a bigger prize -- building the blockchain infrastructure that will power the new internet.
What you'll be doing:
- Synthesize and communicate user and developer needs to inform product strategy
- Proposing and executing on strategies to drive user and developer adoption of Axion ecosystem products
- Iterating on Axion’s go-to-market strategy to promote ecosystem growth at all stages of development
- Building partnerships with wallet, analytics, and other infrastructure providers
- Negotiate and close partnerships deals, ranging from product integrations to those with economic terms
- Articulate Axion’s value proposition to an evolving audience of users and developers
What you are like:
- 2+ years of commercial business development experience at high growth startups and/or big tech companies
- Previous experience developing and implementing strategies and processes from the ground up
- Strategic and analytical thinker who can both see the picture but develop and execute plans to drive bottom-line success
- Comfortable with ambiguity and tenacious, resourceful problem solver
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Passion for crypto and how to grow crypto adoption
