The Role
What we expect from you/what you will do:
- Work with the Director of Marketing to create, drive, and execute our first digital marketing program.
- Assist the Director of Marketing on identifying additional hires to help the digital marketing team excel.
- Define the digital marketing, acquisition strategy for Messari’s product suite articulating target audience, customer insights, and end-to-end roadmap to drive revenue growth.
- Effectively partner with related external agencies we determine are needed to execute digital strategies.
- Manage the day-to-day execution of the digital paid acquisition program, including managing the agency, allocating the budget, developing strategy, in-depth analysis of results, and ongoing optimization.
- Own the development, production, and optimization of integrated campaigns focused on increasing customer engagement throughout the customer lifecycle.
- Work across a dynamic ecosystem of stakeholders to define and implement integrated campaign strategies.
- Utilize competitive analysis and customer data to optimize and evolve our digital marketing program to ensure proper customer engagement and competitive advantages of all digital activities.
- Dive deep into data with reports and dashboards to provide insights around campaign results, effectiveness, and drive strategic decision-making for campaign optimizations.
- Clear, consistent, and frequent communication with stakeholder teams to outline strategy, tactics, goals, and performance for campaigns.
Requirements:
- 5-7 years of experience in digital marketing
- Exceptional verbal and interpersonal communication skills
- Proven experience growing and managing digital marketing teams.
- Proven success effectively using all marketing tools and techniques like PPC, SEO, SEM, email, social media, database marketing, and display advertising.
- 5+ years of relevant work experience in digital marketing for technology products or services, SaaS or Software experience preferred.
- Demonstrated understanding of a marketing funnel and how to align campaign strategies with customer journeys.
- Experience with marketing automation tools (e.g. Pardot, Marketo, Hubspot) and CMSs
- Experience building and managing reports or dashboards within a CRM (e.g. Hubspot)
- Experience using data analysis and reporting tools (e.g. Excel, SQL, Tableau, QuickSight) to identify campaign insights and optimize performance.
- A Plus: Cryptocurrency knowledge and experience, or adjacent verticals (emerging tech, cybersecurity, finance tech, etc). Not required.
- Create content programming that helps educate and inform our customers and the ecosystem to make better-informed building and investing decisions
- Communicate with our customers regarding their product marketing feedback and product issues
- Collaborate with external partners, industry influencers, members of the press, and more to build and maintain our brand equity
- Collaborate across various internal departments including product, business development, event planning, research, and sales, to ensure consistent delivery of full-funnel, multi-channel marketing needs
- Experiment with new marketing and communication channels in order to reach our customers and community via paid, earned, and owned avenues
- Advocate for data-driven marketing activities to ensure we can properly gauge the ROI for each activation we employ
- Create and deploy GTM campaigns in order to drive traffic to announce and create buzz around our products, services, and thought leadership
- Working closely with all marketing team members to devise online/offline marketing strategies across all functions
- Devise campaigns that result in lead generation for our sales and BD teams
