You will be heavily involved in:
Designing the high level system architecture covering data dissemination across the globe. Squeezing the last cycles and bits of cache out of CPUs feeding our low latency trading strategies. Improving data encoding decreasing shared memory footprint and saving bandwidth of our fast network lines. Optimizing connectivity to the existing venues leveraging trading systems and outcompeting others in the race. Providing connectivity to new venues widening our market coverage. Prioritization of your team work among overall company work items. Development and growth of Engineering team members.
Who you are Our ideal candidate will have:
Strong communication and leadership skills. Strong critical thinking foreseeing design flaws and potential issues. Strong market data knowledge (tradfi works, but crypto experience is highly desirable). Strong network programming skills including kernel bypass techniques. Knowledge about network protocols (Websockets/HTTP/TCP/UDP/IP). Strong low level C++ skills. Strong inter-thread/process communication skills. Lockless shared memory data structures knowledge. Good hardware knowledge (CPU, memory+NUMA, NIC). Good Linux system knowledge.
