About the role

We are looking for a Financial Controller for Gnosis Pay. This is a key leadership position responsible for overseeing and managing all financial aspects of the company. This individual will play a pivotal role in setting all mechanisms to run finance, ensuring regulatory compliance within the crypto and payment industry, and providing insightful financial guidance to support the company's growth and financial health.

What you’ll do

• Drive financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting

• Evaluate and recommend investment opportunities

• Oversee financial reporting processes, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and compliance with regulatory standards

• Work closely with legal and compliance teams to address regulatory requirements and maintain compliance in all financial operations

• Identify and mitigate financial risks

• Implement risk management policies to safeguard the company's assets and investments.

• Manage capital allocation and optimize the company's financial structure.

• Oversee day-to-day financial operations, including treasury functions, cash flow management, and liquidity planning.

• Manage relationships with banking partners, exchanges, and other financial institutions.

• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including executives, operations, legal, and technology departments

• Stay updated on the latest trends, regulations, and innovations in the crypto and blockchain space

• Experience (8+ years) as a Financial Controller, or similar role with fintech companies or banks

• Knowledge in cryptocurrency markets, blockchain technology, and DeFi

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and compliance standards

• Excellent leadership, planning, and decision-making skills

• Advanced degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field

• Professional certifications (CPA, CFA) are a plus
