BlockFi is looking for an Inventory Management Trader join our growing team!

Your Mission

• Be the lead trader managing inventory management on a diversified team of traders actively managing borrow/lending, OTC/spot crypto transactions, CeFi/DeFi lending and non-linear risk
• Optimize supply side of firm balance sheet to meet client's inventory needs
• Develop technology solution for a rules based inventory management process based on internal and market inputs, such as asset utilization and derivative market inputs
• Build and maintain strong working relationships across traditional and crypto-native financing counterparties and core clients
• Work with internal partners across technology, treasury, finance, legal, credit, operational and control functions to develop an systematic inventory pricing model
• solve issues using traditional finance experience and crypto innovation to deliver an enhanced client experience
• Operate as a senior member of BlockFi's global institutions team, delivering market insight to clients and keeping the senior team aware of market developments

Your Expertise

• Strong technology background in building trading, pricing and/or inventory management tools
• Experience in trading and managing forward risk across multiple currencies and asset classes
• Capable of building relationships to expand sources of funding
• Deep understanding in modeling and pricing derivatives
• Functional product knowledge of crypto, prime brokerage, equities, swaps, forwards, options, stock lending, repo, futures, and derivative lifecycle management
