Key Responsibilities
- Content Calendar Management: Managing the content calendar, encompassing ideation, strategizing, and execution. This involves planning and organizing the schedule for all content releases, ensuring a strategic and cohesive approach to all marketing communications.
- Content Creation and Distribution: Produce and disseminate content in various formats, such as videos, blog posts, AMAs, and social media updates, across social media platforms (like Twitter and LinkedIn)
- Community Engagement and Support: Engage actively with blockchain communities and support the community team in launching and managing initiatives. You will help in organizing and participating in both virtual and in-person events in partnership with the community team.
- Collaboration with Marketing Teams: Establish and maintain relationships with marketing teams from other protocols and ecosystems that we collaborate with. This role involves coordinating joint marketing efforts and initiatives to strengthen partnerships and enhance collective outreach.
- Social Media and PR Expertise: Manage and grow our presence on platforms like Twitter and Discord. Increase exposure and followership by securing appearances on notable podcasts and working on PRs and media platforms.
- Industry Understanding and Meme Game: Have a strong understanding of the industry and a strong meme game.
- Leadership and Team Management: Lead and manage a team, including internal staff like community managers and external contractors, ensuring effective teamwork and goal achievement.
- Ambassador Network Management: Manage and expand a network of ambassadors, enhancing our reach and impact in the blockchain community.
- Educational Background: A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marketing, Business, Computer Science, or a closely related field. Advanced degrees are highly valued, especially those with a focus on digital marketing or technology.
- Blockchain Marketing Expertise: At least 4 years of marketing experience, with a significant portion dedicated to blockchain technology or related fields. A strong portfolio showcasing successful marketing campaigns within the blockchain or crypto industry.
- Communication of Complex Concepts: Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with a demonstrated ability to explain complex blockchain concepts clearly and engagingly.
- Social Media Management: Proven experience in managing and growing professional social media accounts, with specific emphasis on Twitter and LinkedIn. Ability to leverage these platforms for brand growth and community engagement.
- Leadership and Team Management: Demonstrated leadership experience, preferably in a startup environment. This should include managing a team and coordinating with cross-functional teams.
- Networking Skills: A strong network within the blockchain community is a plus.
