The core objective of this role is to drive and deliver solutions with a hands-on approach for the business, while also leading and coordinating multiple campaigns and moving pieces. This role will require the individual to be able to think on their feet, multitask, lead by example and have a deep understanding of fintech, cryptocurrencies, and startup marketing.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive marketing strategies and manage the planning, implementation, and execution of marketing plans and supporting integrated marketing communication campaigns for Merge;
  • Plan and execute go-to-market strategies for new products, features, enhancements, and token listings by forming the positioning, messaging, and value proposition across institutional clients;
  • Understand key value drivers and vary messaging, positioning and client acquisition methods to suit specific institutional personas. You know or can determine where to find clients, how to collect intent signals, and how to identify if and when our product offering is not meeting client needs and expectations;
  • Optimise complex client journeys through data aggregation and analysis, and process augmentation.
  • Understand each client’s journey, and be bold in identifying challenges and carving solutions;
  • Learn what clients need before they need it through direct interaction, surveys, and market sizing; bring that perspective to design, roadmapping, and backlog prioritisation
  • Make data-driven decisions when framing hypotheses, determining product-market fit, evaluating campaign performance, and setting goals;
  • Use sound product sense in marketing every day: identify the problem we are solving for, our hypothesis, what goals we will set and how we measure them, what channels are best to use, what we should do now, and how we can scale and automate;
  • Build the global marketing team;
  • Make the difference by defining smart, effective and differentiating online marketing strategies for global platforms;
  • Develop a scalable and highly automated online marketing set-up to further optimise the marketing investment;
  • Create an environment where we expect you to try and test new things and learn from that every day with the team;
  • Define and implement automation strategy for our advertising campaigns;
  • Develop outreach, communications and PR strategy to increase acquisition and grow the brand;
  • Identify the optimal (attributed) channel mix for the optimal performance;
  • Identify and act on high impact opportunities;
  • Leading the marketing team, with a big focus on performance;
  • Experience in managing end-to-end marketing campaigns and digital marketing;

Requirement

  • At least 5 years of marketing experience, of which 2-3 years experience working in a Web 3.0, crypto, digital asset and/or fintech startup
  • Must have a proven background working within successful Fintech marketing teams;
  • Ability to Lead teams with proven success and a hand on approach;
  • Ability to be a passionate leader and communicator, with a demonstrated talent for building collaborative partnerships with product partners and other cross-functional teams;
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced dynamic environment with solid project management skills.
  • Deep knowledge of all marketing technology and analytics
  • Passionate, organised, driven and self-motivated
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, finance, engineering or information technology or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience.
