Your mission:
As our Regional Finance Manager for the UK, you’ll have the opportunity to work on interesting expansion project work across the UK, including post-merger integration, support the financial audits of our UK entities and take the lead on establishing and optimising processes across our Group Finance function.
What you'll do:
- Provide support on month-end close procedures and work closely with outsourced accountants/advisors.
- Establish and maintain detailed operating instructions on month-end close procedures in close collaboration with Group Finance and UK management.
- Provide constructive input regarding accounting process optimisation.
- Support financial statement audits of UK entities.
- Provide support to your manager during expansion projects in the UK including assisting with post-merger finance integration processes
Who you are
- Minimum +5 years of relevant professional experience in accounting (IFRS and UK GAAP) and understanding of financial processes.
- Certified accountant or higher education in Finance (e.g. Bachelor or Master degree).
- Strong organisational, and problem-solving skills and the ability to manage and prioritise own workload, as well as attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills facilitating cross-functional collaboration.
- Experience with ERP systems (Oracle Netsuite is a plus).
