Blockchain.com is building a new strategic b2b product, Blockchain.com Pay, that needs an experienced and passionate Partnerships Lead to drive and execute its Go to Market strategy. You will be instrumental in finding product market fit by owning the sales process, deeply understanding clients, and working closely with Product, Marketing and Engineering teams to shape the product and marketing message. As the initial hire for this function, you will set the groundwork for scaling out the team as the product grows.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Be accountable for Blockchain.com Pay’s partnership strategy with wallets, on-ramp aggregators, token projects, and other industries more broadly.
  • Leverage your relationships with the ecosystem to identify potential opportunities.
  • Own the sales process. Source prospects, map key stakeholders, understand their goals deeply, contract negotiation and closing.
  • Find product market fit. Work closely with Product, Engineering and Marketing teams to ensure client needs are represented, correctly prioritised and addressed.
  • Drive customers to success. Support customers during integration, be the glue between them and Blockchain.com. Understand clients and how to enable their success.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients in a competitive industry.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

  • 3-5 years of Partnerships, Customer Success, or Business Development experience in a b2b Tech or Payments company. Of which, 2+ years experience in the crypto industry.
  • Start-up or Founding experience.
  • A proven track record of leading and closing impactful partnerships in a product-centric environment with significant internal and external dependencies.
  • Experience negotiating commercial deals with organisations of all sizes.
  • Team player with strong interpersonal skills, ability to interact effectively with partners and colleagues from various cultural backgrounds.
  • Highly organised, data-driven analytical thinker who thrives in a fast-paced, high growth environment.
  • Experience sourcing deals with Salesforce and LinkedIn.
  • Extensive network within the crypto ecosystem.
