Your mission is to establish Journee as the leading metaverse solution in the region. You will be identifying growth opportunities and negotiating partnerships that will enable our ambitious growth plans. This is a role that requires a high degree of autonomy and ownership from day one, so we are looking for someone who is well-connected in the region and within the web3 community yet works well independently.
You will be working closely with management who frequently visits the region, and be supported by our business development team and the rest of the organization. Teamwork makes the dream work!

What you'll be doing:
- Responsible for developing the regional growth and partnership strategy
- Ownership of executing partnership initiatives - you are a do'er
- Building and cultivating strong relationships and trust with key partners and market movers
- Gaining insights and knowledge about local market developments
- Support building our brand in the region as the leading metaverse solution
- 5+ years partnership/growth or business development experience in the region
- Proven track record of creating growth and game-changing partnerships
- Strong network within web3, advertising or tech is a plus
- Focus on value-creating activities and partnerships
- Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of an organization, internally and externally
- Problem-solving entrepreneurial mindset and driven positive attitude
- Genuine interest in the Web3 and the metaverse space
- Good energy, empathy and open-mindedness, a positive "can-do" mindset
- Remote-first company with offices in Berlin, Cape Town, Dubai and New York
- Flexibility to work in Berlin or remotely in a similar time zone (CET/ CEST +/- 2 hours)

- The base salary range for his role is $150,000- $210,000, the exact compensation may vary based on skillset and experience. Our coverage also includes medical, dental and vision coverage. We provide a 401k with competitive match and profit share as well as caregiver (Parental) leave.
