We are on the lookout for aPeople Strategy & Operations Manager to join the team. This role will play a key part in building the People function as we scale from ~120 person workforce to the next phase, as well as driving strategic projects that impact our culture at large. As a key member of Magic Edenās People team reporting directly to the Chief of Staff, you will help ensure that our managers and individual contributors have the support they need to be as effective as possible in their roles. You will own important components of global HR operations, as well as play a key role in the implementation of programs, processes and tools to transform Magic Eden from a scrappy startup to a once-in-a-generation company.
What You Will Do:
- Leverage your expertise to collaborate closely with founders and the executive leadership team to come up with the right People initiatives that support our business objectives and drive impactful change
- Drive the evolution of our HR programs and processes, including talent management, management excellence, people engagement, organization design and change implementation
- Recommend best practices and execute policies and practices to support Magic Edenās evolution as a company, with emphasis on scaling and ensuring we invest in people management, as well as feedback and high performance culture
- Serve as a primary point of contact and trusted resource for employees, especially with respect to coaching new managers, learning and development initiatives, and other culture-focused improvement projects
- Roll up your sleeves and dive into various People Ops efforts, providing hands-on support where needed, and partner with central teams (Finance, Recruiting, Legal, etc) as well as Engineering and Business stakeholders
What you bring:
- 8+ years of experience in HR/People Operations, preferably within a dynamic tech startup environment, or management consulting background with emphasis on program execution, people transformation or culture-oriented projects
- Demonstrated ability to thrive in ambiguous, fast-paced, high-growth environments
- Excellent project management skills and demonstrated ability to drive processes and change effectively
- Mastery of stakeholder management, change management, and tools like Sheets and Slides to make compelling, data-driven presentations

The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. The base salary range for this role is $160,000 - $200,000. Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in Magic Edenās equity plan. Final offer amount will be at the companyās sole discretion and determined by multiple factors, including years and depth of experience and expertise, location and other business considerations.
