We are seeking an Assistant Accountant plays a vital role in the financial team by supporting daily accounting operations and ensuring accurate financial record-keeping. This position involves tasks such as processing invoices, reconciling bank statements, and assisting in the preparation of financial reports. Maintaining the integrity of financial data and facilitating smooth financial operations within the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for data processing and general accounting duties
- Prepare financial & analytic reports, including crypto-currencies movement and reconciliation
- Assist in handling company secretarial and clerical duties, including maintaining and updating statutory records, filing of statutory returns and KYC
- Coordinate with external auditors during year-end audit process to ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards
- Assist in managing investment portfolios
- Handle other ad-hoc assignments as assigned by the supervisor
- Degree holder major in Accounting, Finance, or business related disciplines
- 3-5 Years accounting experience
- Willing to take on tedious tasks
- Proficiency in MS Office (e.g. Excel, Word, PowerPoint etc.)
- Good knowledge on Microsoft Dynamic, Excel macros and pivot table would be an advantage
- Good team player, self-motivated, detailed-oriented, able to work independently
- Proven experience in independently handling full set of accounts and ability to effectively coordinate with auditors and manage audit processes;
- Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese;
- Interested in high technology (e.g. Blockchain, Cryptocurrencies, Artificial Intelligence)
- Candidates with less experience will be considered as Accounting Assistant
