We are searching for a Web3 Marketing Lead (Head of Marketing) who will run a global team to secure Synternet’s place as a world class Web3 infrastructure blockchain.

The Marketing team at Synternet is a creative engine, spreading the Synternet Blockchain far and wide into the world and pushing for the adoption of the Data Layer and its use cases. We’re an ambitious team, leveraging our position both as a cosmos chain as well as a chain agnostic data oracle to create a unique point of view, infiltrate crypto culture and influence mindsets.

We're remote-first, so you can be based anywhere, as long as you have a good alignment with European time zones.



Main responsibilities

  • Lead Synternet’s marketing efforts to ensure strong product/market-fit and drive effective differentiation relative to Synternet’s competitors over time.
  • Collaborate with tech, product, business development, and community teams to integrate our brand narrative, product positioning, and messaging with all aspects.
  • Own and strategize our content-publishing plan to create a unique, powerful, and consistent brand voice that helps us achieve our goals.
  • Plan and execute campaigns to drive measurable improvements in brand awareness, user acquisition, and community engagement, optimizing the portfolio of marketing channels including content marketing & SEO (eg. blog, social, TG, YT, X, Discord, LinkedIn, community AMAs, etc.), paid advertising (eg. Google, Facebook, Reddit, Quora Ads, etc.), public relations (press, speaking engagements, conferences, partnerships, etc.) and unique web3-native promotions (eg. NFTs, airdrops, giveaways, Telegram bots, etc.) to grow community engagement and feature adoption.


Requirements


Experience 

  • Previous experience as a CMO / Demonstrable experience in a senior marketing leadership role within Web3.
  • Experience leading cross-functional marketing teams, with an ability to communicate business priorities, set goals, promote accountability and ownership.
  • Synternet is a global blockchain, experience in a global setting is important and a focus on APAC is desirable. Understanding the nuances and trade-offs of global vs. regional marketing is crucial. Experience in a country-based approach to Web3 Community growth is highly desirable. 
  • Highly knowledgeable and experienced in using the latest AI tools to deliver marketing outcomes.
  • Strong analytical and conceptual skills with a data mindset and the ability to build and own and develop granular business intelligence with an understanding and optimization of data-driven marketing strategies.

  • Fluent in English.
  • Can switch gears between being both a hands-on leader and inspiring manager.
