We are currently looking for an Finance Manager to join our rapidly growing team in the US. This will be a remote based position with occasional travel. This is an exciting challenge for a candidate looking to take on the day-to-day accounting responsibilities of a fast growing company with operations across multiple countries. This role is responsible for the core financial processes and systems while supplying support to the CFO and Finance Director as required. • Monitors: revenue and expenses, expenditure variance analysis, coordinating financial data; and preparing special reports
• Manages: month & end-year processes, accounts payable/receivable, intercompany transaction, capital assets reconciliations, fixed asset activity & debt activity
• Analysis and reporting of all crypto transactions by Blockchain and to Blockchain
• Establish and maintain fiscal files and records to document transactions
• Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports
• Meet financial accounting objectives
• Completes audits, identifies trends, determines system improvements, and implements change
• Maintains accounting controls, general ledger and prepares an annual budget
• Maintains financial security by establishing internal controls
• Understands current and proposed legislation, enforcing accounting regulations, and recommending new procedures
• Guides others by providing knowledge and support on accounting policy
• Implement systems for collecting, analyzing, verifying, and reporting financial information
• Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies and principles with the help of the bookkeeping partner
• Maintain relationship with local bookkeeping and tax partners

• 5-7 years accounting experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• Relevant qualifications (CPA, CMA, CIA or ACCA, etc.)
• Previous working experience as Accounting Manager, Accounting Supervisor or Finance Manager
• Proven knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws and regulations
• Extensive knowledge of IFRS and/or GAAP accounting principles
• Understanding of digital assets, major blockchain protocols and their accounting treatment
• Solid experience with a technology startup in the cryptocurrency, data center, and/or cloud compute segments
• Ability to support teams with a a global presence
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to communicate across all levels
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment and meet tight deadlines
• Ability to manipulate large amounts of data with attention to detail and accuracy
• Advanced computer skills with MS Office/G-Suite
• Experience working with cloud based accounting software and databases, such as Xero
• Ability to work independently (remote), manage large workloads, and keep deadlines
