Security Engineer (Evergreen)

Through our blockchain technology and rapidly growing network of financial institutions, Ripple is improving the global financial system and increasing economic inclusion for more people, in more places around the world. Ripple is looking for passionate Information Security professionals to build a world class Information Security program. As part of the Information Security team, you will help us achieve this mission by actively working to protect our staff, company, and the larger crypto communities we engage with.

We are currently hiring for roles across multiple Information Security domains as highlighted below.

Product Security Engineer (Senior Engineer and above)

In this role, you will be a technical Infosec leader ensuring the security of Ripple’s product line and mentoring other Infosec engineers. You will be providing detailed threat models for all products and services and ensure that the required detection and prevention controls meet the most stringent standards. The role will report to our Director of Security and Operations and will be in regular collaboration with the technical leaders across our engineering and cloud operations teams.

Infrastructure Security Engineer (all levels)

Our Infrastructure Security team is a growing team, helping Rippler’s design, build, and use on-premise and cloud infrastructure securely at scale. Infrastructure Security Engineers work on a broad set of efforts focusing on scaling and automating security infrastructure and processes. This team works closely with Ripple’s IT organization and Cloud Engineering and Operations teams to ensure we are building securely to protect our business and our customers. In this role you may find yourself working to enforce perimeters to protect all of Ripple’s environments, strategizing IAM solutions, detecting vulnerabilities and ensuring patching processes, assessing and securing public cloud infrastructure, and more. All with the intention of influencing policy to simplify user experience and keep Ripple secure.

Detection and Response Engineer (all levels)

Ripple's Detection & Response team defends against internal and external threats across our company and services. We are focused on protecting Ripple, our revolutionary payment technology, our employees, and our customers. To accomplish this, we are building data pipelines and detections, automating incident response, and developing leading-edge solutions to collect and analyze data in both security incidents and investigations. As an Detection and Response Engineer, you will build and grow your career in all of these areas.

Offensive Security Engineer (Senior Engineer and above)

As an Offensive Security Engineer at Ripple, you will lead exercises designed to test and secure Ripple’s product offerings and all related infrastructure. You will work independently in red team efforts, as well as, partner with others in Infosec and Engineering in purple team operations. Your findings will be presented in clear and compelling formats that drive awareness and mitigation.
