We are looking for an experienced Chief Technology Officer and crypto expert to join our Executive Board and lead the development and operation of our crypto platform, “Stackchain.“ The role necessitates leadership, strategic thinking, and team management capabilities. To come up with solutions and provide assistance in planning and decision-making, it is vital to possess a good understanding of current crypto trends and be familiar with various business concepts.

Stackchain is a faster, more efficient, and more secure version of Blockchain technology. It's a climate-neutral Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT) that stores information in distributed databases. It requires no mining and supports data privacy requirements (GDPR). We are dedicated to constructing a potent crypto platform for tokenization and decentralization. Stackchain is the technology that drives Neco, the cryptocurrency for people, planet and profit.

Tasks

  • Build-up and lead the development team in the role of Circle Lead
  • Assigning roles and responsibilities
  • Designing and developing the Stackchain platform
  • Maintaining and prioritizing of the product backlog
  • Authoring the Stackchain technical specifications
  • Acting as the primary liaison with all stakeholders
  • Managing the development environment and repositories
  • Defining the product vision and roadmap
  • Testing the Stackchain platform
  • Engaging in technological analyses and research
  • Developing a sustainable IT strategy
  • Overviewing the development and operations of all parts of the IT infrastructure
  • Designing and developing our technologies and apps
  • Managing feature requests, bug fixing
  • Reviewing and releasing product updates

Requirements

  • Management background
  • 10 years or more in technical leadership or management roles
  • Experience leading distributed teams
  • Experience building technical teams for organizational effectiveness
  • Development Experience:
  • 10 years or more in hands-on product development and design for a variety of software applications, with a proven track record of delivering complex products and solutions.
  • Experience in conducting technological analyses and research to define product strategy
  • Blockchain and crypto experience (Bitcoin, Ethereum)
  • Experience with cloud computing platforms (e.g. AWS, Google Cloud)
  • Experience with agile development (Scrum)
  • Fluent in written and spoken English
