We are seeking a Lead People Business Partner to play a pivotal role in enhancing our business strategies and processes in People Operations and across our global orgs. You’ll work closely with our Leadership teams around employee development, engagement and policy. You’ll provide guidance on improving our compensation, leveling and performance management initiatives using a data driven approach.
Responsibilities:
- Act as a strategic thought partner to Engineering leadership.
- Provide high-touch support to management to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity, engagement, and retention
- Identify and advise leadership on the development needs of their teams and functions.
- Manage and mentor a team of People Business Partners
- Act as an advocate and resource for BitGo employees.
- Partner with and advise leaders and managers on all things people-related, such as performance management & coaching, employee relations, leveling processes, succession strategy and organizational development.
- Advise and consult management on BitGo HR policies and programs, in collaboration with People Ops team members and in-house counsel as necessary.
- Build employee diversity and inclusion strategies for different client groups and implement impactful action throughout the organization.
- Work with legal counsel and external consultants to help ensure BitGo’s compliance with other federal, state, and local labor regulations (wage regulations, equal employment opportunity laws, etc.).
- Assist in the administration, tracking, and support for company-wide Performance Management and Engagement Survey processes as requested
Skills and Experience:
- A background of 10+ years in HR or People Operations
- Knowledge of international employment-related laws, regulations, and compliance requirements and a track record of prioritizing, defining, developing, and rolling out scalable HR solutions that address the needs of the business.
- Fully developed coaching and problem solving skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with ever-changing priorities.
- Strong experience partnering closely with senior leadership partners.
- Experience working with both technical and non-technical client groups and a deep understanding of the challenges within each group.
- A clear, approachable, and friendly communication >
- Experience implementing people programs including performance coaching, employee relations, compensation review process, HR compliance, and employee development/growth.
- Strong analytical and project management skills, proven ability to design clear processes, and a very detail-oriented yet flexible approach to problem solving.
- Experience working in a remote, globally distributed team in a fast-paced high-growth environment strongly preferred
- Passion for cryptocurrency adoption and personal experience with crypto strongly preferred
