Artory was founded in 2016 by art market leader, Nanne Dekking. The business team is based in midtown Manhattan and the product and technology teams are in Berlin and remote.
Tasks
What You Will Do:
- Design and develop advanced blockchain applications and decentralized applications (DApps), including smart contracts, non-fungible tokens (NFTs), and digital certificates
- Lead and develop all stages of contract development, including requirement gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, and event monitoring
- Be a key contributor to the overall application architecture and direction of platform
- Integrate various crypto wallets
- Work with various blockchain infrastructures and platforms, including Algorand and its SDKs, Polygon, and Avalanche
- Write scalable code using Typescript and/or Python
- Develop and manage the deployment of code
- Research suitable technologies and explore opportunities for additional uses of blockchain and other cutting-edge technology for Artory
- Actively contribute to the development of the project's overall strategy and vision
- Improve the testability, quality, and automation of our applications
- Ensure the security and integrity of the codebase and the final product
Requirements
What We’re Looking For:
- A passion for blockchain and decentralized ecosystems
- Experience in developing smart contracts with successful releases (Solidity and/or TEAL/pyTEAL)
- Hands-on experience with one or more blockchain infrastructures (preferably Algorand, Ethereum, and/or Polygon) in a production environment
- A strong background in software development
- Proficiency in Typescript and/or Python
- Experience with web3.js, ethers.js, or similar libraries
- Experience with Agile development methodologies
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Work eligibility in Germany is required
Bonus:
- Familiarity with REACH
- Experience with Serverless architecture, AWS Lambda, Azure Functions or similar
- Experience with DevOps and CI/CD pipeline
- Experience with Git, Jira, and other project management tools
