About the Role:

The PeopleOps (and office) Assistant for Thesis will support the Steering Team and PeopleOps Manager. You will be the primary point of contact in offering a variety of clerical, administrative, and operational support to our satellite office in Atlanta, GA, as well as confidence in supporting our PeopleOps initiatives remotely.


About You:

  • I love logistics! You are capable of coordinating both in person or remotely from the simplest task to the most complex
  • You will be the supporting anchor between PeopleOps, Operations and the different team members onsite in Atlanta. You will be the go-to-person to ensure action items make it to the finish line
  • You have a proactive approach to oversee projects start to finish
  • You have strong interpersonal and clear communication skills, plus actively listen
  • You are tech-savvy, knowledgeable and can follow security protocols
  • You are driven. Not only do you love completing your goals but are keen on ensuring others complete and accomplish their goals too
  • You have the ability to multitask and dominate coordinating people, schedules, and you care
  • You have high integrity and are trustworthy and reliable to confidentiality operate around sensitive materials and conversations


What You’ll Do:

  • Support and coordinate with PeopleOps on a daily basis to ensure, the office and the team are receiving quality support
  • Work with PeopleOps to support successful onboarding. Help maintain company wide documentation is kept up to date. Play a supporting role to ensure the new hire experience is seamless for all employees and contractors
  • Be the main point of contact and the face of Thesis onsite in the Atlanta office as well as support our cultural tenants online
  • Office Management: Maintain office inventory, coordinate ordering and delivery of supplies. Be the point of contact for office guests, shipping and receiving, overall facilitator when needed onsite. Main POC for our FedEx, UPS, USPS accounts. Responsible for checking mail and packages on a regular basis. Check incoming messages from email and main office phone line
  • Help support the occasional planning of offsite events
  • Manage branded swag! From merchandise samples, tracking inventory and supporting our different project campaigns
  • Support a fun, work environment both in person and fully online
  • Display a positive attitude and be able to shift your work to special projects as needed. Flexibility is key!
  • Flex your project management skills to properly prioritize tasks assigned to the office and ensure personal work is properly completed by requested deadlines, whether ad hoc or planned
  • Host a weekly check-in with PeopleOps to maintain business operations are on track in a weekly stand up
  • Be available to be at the office for on-site meetings, be the catch all for miscellaneous items, run occasional errands without notice
  • Other duties as assigned


Ideally, What You’ll Have:

  • 1-2 years of experience in a supporting role or administrative capacity
  • Have the ability to collaborate with leads and others remotely and also in person
  • A passion for people; learning about PeopleOps and are crypto curious!
  • A reputation for responsiveness, thoroughness and accuracy
  • Organized, self-motivated, detailed-oriented, works well under occasional pressure
  • Comfortable in a small team, start up setting

We are remote-first with the understanding you must be physically located in the metro Atlanta area with reliable transportation.
