The Role

We are excited to announce we are looking for a Senior Gameplay Engineer for our Town Star game. The ideal candidate must have extensive experience and knowledge of C# game development with a creative and hands-on attitude amplified by an entrepreneurial spirit for technical excellence. Responsibilities

• Implement performant, well-architected Town Star features in code.
• Collaborate with the design team to build new game features.
• Design and implement large gameplay systems.
• Solve performance problems, race conditions, network, and any other
• Optimize any aspect of the game (load time, speed, size)
• Receive requirements from team leads
• Test changes thoroughly
• Communicates well with other engineers and with QA
• Is able to foresee shortcomings in design or possible exploits

Essential Skills and Qualifications

• At least 5+ years professional experience in C#
• At least 5+ years working in Godot, Unity, or Unreal
• Strong work planning / sprint preparation, and time management skills
• Strong computer science and 3D / 2D math skills
• Positive and articulate communication and interpersonal skills both spoken and written
• Brilliant imagination complimented by reliability and execution
• Self-motivated, stellar work ethic, fun collaborator
• Has a tried and true methodology for accurate estimates
• Has worked on games with a client-server architecture or multiplayer games.
• Has experience using REST APIs
• Self-motivated, stellar work ethic, fun collaborator

Nice-to-Have Skills and Qualifications

• Has worked with the Godot engine
• Game industry preferred
• Has an affinity for behavior-driven-development
• Knowledge in blockchain, NFTs, and cryptocurrency
• Has prior successful experience working in a fully remote environment
