The Growth Marketing Lead (aka Degen Marketer) at Gauntlet will be responsible for owning and executing our marketing strategy across all platforms, driving the growth of both Gauntlet and Aera. You will work cross-functionally with Product, Business Development, and external partners to ensure our go-to-market strategies are impactful and aligned with our overall business objectives.

Your primary goal will be to generate demand across key verticals and enhance our brand's reach through strategic partnerships and events. This role is critical to the continued success of our expansion into existing and new markets.

Responsibilities

    • Demand Generation: Design, develop, and implement strategies to drive demand for Aera and other categories Gauntlet plays like perpetuals and (re)staking. 
    • Go-to-Market Strategy: Collaborate with Product teams to define and execute joint strategies that align with Gauntlet's sometimes changing objectives.
    • Partner Marketing & Events: Expand Gauntlet’s reach by managing partner marketing initiatives and participating in key industry events.
    • Performance Analysis: Analyze and optimize marketing campaigns to improve key metrics such as conversion rates, engagement, and ROI.
    • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including BD, Product, and Content, to ensure marketing efforts are aligned with broader company goals.

Qualifications

    • Experience: 5-7 years in growth marketing, focusing strongly on crypto/fintech industries. Proven experience in owning and executing marketing plans.
    • Crypto Native: Deep understanding and active participation in the crypto space, particularly within DeFi and ideally DAOs.
    • Analytical & Strategic: Strong analytical skills with the ability to derive actionable insights from data. Experience with A/B testing and marketing analytics tools.
    • Technical Competence: Ability to translate complex technical concepts into compelling marketing messages.
    • Independent & Driven: Self-starter with the ability to operate independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
    • Organized & Effective Communicator: Strong project management skills with excellent communication abilities across business and technical discussions.

Bonus Points

    • Experience in consumer fintech or Web3/DeFi.
    • Strong presentation skills, with the ability to engage and persuade diverse audiences.

The national pay range for this role is $150,000 - $190,000 plus additional On Target Earnings potential by level and equity in the company. Our salary ranges are based on paying competitively for a company of our size and industry, and are one part of many compensation, benefits and other reward opportunities we provide. Individual pay rate decisions are based on a number of factors, including qualifications for the role, experience level, skill set, and balancing internal equity relative to peers at the company.
